Update Statement:
" The College has continued an informal dialogue with BUPA Insurance Limited. The College seeks to promote good, evidence-based ophthalmic practice for the benefit of all patients, wherever ophthalmic care is delivered. Our position remains that it is inappropriate for BUPA to act as a regulator for one sector of practice and the College does not intend to assist in the implementation of BUPA's plans. "
